Stumbling through the hall, and receiving some nasty glares from the people she shoved out of the way, Sakura had finally made it outside. Looking around it looked exactly like how it did when she first arrived.

The students were outside and there was a table to receive your schedules. She walked over and got in the line, the wait Sakura estimated would take a few hours. The pink haired girl sighed this was going to be a while.

Her gaze peered over at the main building that she had just exited from. The entire building was painted white, but it had such a pristine look to it in Sakura’s opinion, lost in thought a man with the same cloak Deidara was wearing walked up behind her.

“This is my chance; I’ve got to know whats with the cloaks.” Sakura mulled over this thought, hey she was already hated by most people because of her actions earlier, whats one more person.

“Hey whats with the cloaks?” She asked, turning around to face the guy. Many gasped erupted from the front of the line. “Did I say something wrong?” she thought.

Ignoring the hushed whispering Sakura looked up at the man, he had grayish silver hair, and was giving her probably the best death glare Sakura had ever seen. “It’s none of your fucking business little girl.” He spat, narrowing his eyes at her.

“HEY, I just asked a simple question!” Sakura growled, “So answer.”

Sakura felt a hand grasp her throat and lift her upwards, “Watch who you’re talking to.” She clawed at his hands trying to break free of his grasp. Everyone just stood there and watched, dead silent as the scene unfolded.

“NO!” Sakura tried to see but she couldn’t turn her head, “Hidan don’t kill Pinkie, un!” She sighed no one but her idiotic perverted roommate called her that.

“Pinkie?” Hidan asked. Sakura groaned as she hit the pavement, and began to glare at Hidan. She saw Deidara walk up to her.

“Hidan, this is my roommate pinkie, un!” Deidara happily exclaimed pointing at the wheezing Sakura.

“Hey didn’t he blow up his last roommate?” Sakrua’s ears caught the conversation that people were whispering behind her.

“No, I heard they got stabbed.” The other exclaimed, making sure to distance himself from the pink-haired girl. People in the line acted as if she was some horrid disease. Sakura stood up and brushed the front of her pants off.

Deidara tilted his head, as Sakura and Hidan began staring at each other, neither blinking. Deidara raised an eyebrow; they looked like they were both getting ready to beat the crap out of each other. “Ok, then enough of that Pinkie wouldn’t want to up set the Jashinst would we, un?” Deidara pulled her out of the line and away from Hidan.

“Deidara let me go!” she yelled as he continued to pull her by the arm.

He stopped walking and turned around to face Sakura. “Listen Pinkie, don’t go around yelling at people, un, unless you have a death wish.” He grinned.

“I just asked why he was wearing the same damn cloak as you.” She sneered, furious that she had lost her spot in the line. “And what the hell is a Jashinst?!”

“Ok, first off Pinkie we belong to a gang called the Akatsuki, un.” Sakura blinked, Deidara belonged to a gang? “Second being Jashinst is some weird religion that Hidan probably made up as an excuse for violence, un.”

Sakura stood there this was just too weird; she should have stayed back at her hometown. But she felt over a thousand questions erupt in her mind.

She squeaked as she felt herself being dragged by the arm again, “Deidara let GO!”

“Just wait I want to introduce you to my friends, un!” He joyously yelled.

“Wait, friends?” she asked.

“The other Akatsuki’s, un!” Deidara exclaimed, “You know for a girl you’re pretty stupid, un.”

“I’m WHAT!?” she called out. “WHAT DID YOU SAY?!”

“Pinkie just be quite, you trying to kill me wouldn’t be a very good first impression on my friends now would it, un.” Sakura felt her shoulders slump as she was dragged off by the over happy Deidara.

“God I couldn’t just have one normal year of college.” She exasperated.

Being pulled back from her thoughts she felt Deidara release her wrist, they were standing inside a gymnasium, a bunch of guys rushed down the court calling out each others names. “Why am I watching basketball Deidara?” she groaned out, this was the one sport she absolutely hated. When she was in the fifth grade, Sakura ended playing basketball with her friend Neji only to have the ball collide with her face.

Sakura had then decided that Basketball was not her sport, and going through the lists of the other sports, she concluded that she was 100% non-athletic. Let’s see in Volleyball she had bent down to tie her shoe, only to have the ball spiked onto her back by Naruto. Basically she always ended up injured in someway.

“PINKIE DUCK, UN!”

“MY NAMES NOT PINK-” Sakura went crashing to the floor as a basketball went colliding with the side of her head. Deidara ran over to the unconscious girl crouching down, he poked her back.

“Well she’s not trying to strangle me, so I guess she out cold, un.” Deidara spoke to the boy standing next to him. His face was covered by an orange mask, with one eyehole.  The boy sat down on the opposite side of Deidara staring at Sakura’s face.

“Deidara-sempai do you think she’s ok?!” the boy asked worriedly.

“Eh, she’ll be fine Tobi, besides it can’t be worse than when Hidan tried to strangle her, un.” Deidara chuckled. “And stop calling me sempai!” Deidara groaned.

“Hidan tried to what?” Tobi asked curiously, tilting his head.

“It’s nothing, un, now help me get her back to my room, un.”

“Uh, shouldn’t we take her to her room, or the nurse, or something!”

“Nah and we’re roommates, un.” Tobi stared at his sempai. “Just help me get her to the room you idiot, un.” Tobi lifted up her legs, while Deidara slid his arms underneath hers and they carried her out of the gym.

“She’s pretty sempai!” Tobi squealed studying Sakura.

“Tobi if you do anything I will personally throw you in a ditch and shoot you, understood, un?!” He growled. Tobi sadly nodded as they made their way past the dorm rooms.

“Hey do you like her sempai!?” Tobi exclaimed, even though he was wearing a mask Deidara knew that Tobi was grinning madly.

“Shut up, un.” The two began to climb the stairs carefully still carrying Sakura. “Besides it was your horrible basketball skills that made it so that I won’t be able to introduce her to the rest of the Akatsuki today, un.”

“Deidara-sempai you like her!”

“I SAID shut up, un!” Deidara glanced down at the girl, she was pretty cute her light pink hair covering her face, but he hadn’t given it a second thought earlier.

Deidara stared at Sakura as she was sleeping peacefully on his bed; his hand was clutching the envelope that held her schedule. Deidara had remembered earlier that she needed it, so he had gone and got it for her. Peeling back the opening he was just too curious to wait for her to wake up. He wanted to know what she was trying to major in.  Scanning over the paper a few times, Deidara let a sly grin run over his face.

“She’s in most of my classes, un.” Deidara carefully slid the paper back into envelope, closing it the blond tossed it on the dresser behind him. He was now even more curious to find out what kind of art she was into.

“WHAT THE HELL, UN!” Deidara jumped back as he heard a weird rap song being played. Sakura stirred in her sleep, but turning over began to rest peacefully. Deidara walked over towards the black backpack on the floor, the obnoxious noise radiating from it. Deidara thought rationally and concluded it had to be her cell phone.

Not caring about Sakura’s things he began digging through the backpack tossing out all of her stuff. Pens, pencils, money, snacks all went flying onto the floor, locating the noise maker Deidara pulled it out and silently crept out of the room.

Outside the phone was still ringing loudly, the phone had been painted a neon orange color with hot pink flowers. He figured that she had painted it, as he flipped open the phone and held it to his ear.

“Hello, un?”

“SAKURA IT’S ME NARUTO AND EVERYONE!” Deidara held the phone away from his ear as some boy screeched into the phone.

“I’m not Sakura, un, I’m her roommate Deidara!” He growled back annoyed at the deafness that was probably going to result from the kids yelling.

“Let me speak to Sakura-chan!” Ino called into the phone, around the table Naruto had put the phone of speaker allowing everyone to speak.

“Sorry brat, but she got hit by a car, un.” Deidara snickered messing with peoples heads was just so too much fun.

“SHE WAS WHAT?!” Neji yelled out his eyes bulging from his head.

“He’s obviously lying.” Sasuke said calmly.

“You kids are too smart these days, un.” Deidara sighed out, “but seriously un, Sakura isn’t here so I’m hanging up, un.” Before closing the phone he could here their screams of protests, causing Deidara to chuckle. “At least it was somewhat enjoyable.” He told himself. Walking into the room he tossed the phone back into her bag and sat down in the chair.

“Deidara let me in.” the voice came from outside the door; the blond got up.

“The fun never stops, un.”
